Ed and all his sassy gals

I had the pleasure of meeting the Schultz clan this past Sunday. What a treat! I really love this part of the job. I will add that my least favorite is editing, but that is for a different time. I love that at the start most people are so stiff and self conscience, but by the end, they are comfortable and having fun! I, myself, had a blast with this family. I enjoyed the dog, Charlie, too! She is the queen bee, but it is so funny that Gail, mom, is NOT a dog fan but tolerates it because Ed, dad, loves the dog so much. I love that! Gail and Ed live in New Jersey and had not had their pictures taken since their wedding ) They were due! I hope they like the fun shots I got of them as a beautiful married couple. Marissa and Mel are beautiful girls and I had to get a picture of their gorgeous smiles! Gail also added that it cost a fortune, so we should take a picture. Kaya is TWO!

Kaya and Noah are repeat customers. This is our third shoot together with their parents, BethAnn and Jay. This photoshoot was about Kaya turning two, but I really wanted to focus on some great family shots for them. We met at the Botanical Gardens near Chatfield. It could not have been a prettier day. Kaya and Noah were on the move as usual, so sweating for me was a given! I loved it! We all ran and played with bubbles. I have to say that my favorite shot is the one above. How can you not laugh at that!? And once again, I must say it.....Kaya is GORGEOUS! I asked BethAnn and Jay to make me a girl and she just laughed, so I guess that option is out. I want to steal her- until she is 15, then they can have her back. BethAnn and Jay, you guys ROCK!!!! Thanks again!

Bryson, Braxton and Morgan

Anyone that knows me, knows my love for Ally. I miss her every day, so this shoot meant a ton to me. Morgan (the dog at 11yrs) is nearing the end. Kristi wanted to get shots of the dog and kids for her husband (early Father's Day present). We had fun for sure, but Bryson, the youngest at 7 mos, wasn't enjoying the chilly weather as much as Braxton, 2 1/2 yrs (we will be having a future photoshoot with him to get more "happy" pictures for the Father's Day photobook).  Kristi, you were a trooper on such a crazy day. The wind was out of control!!! Thank you so much and I hope your husband loves his present!
