Kaya is ONE!

Now am I right or am I right? This girl is GORGEOUS! I had trouble just picking a few great pictures of her. All of the pictures were super cute and to top it off, she is a great baby. Congratulations, Kaya, on turning one and letting me celebrate with you!

I really wanted to capture the true essence of this family. They are fun and active. I hope I did them justice. They also have a history of bad family photo experiences, so again, I hope I did right by them. It was a cold day, but the kids hung in there. Noah is three and Kaya just turned one, so getting them to actually look in the direction of the camera was not going to happen. I actually loved that. It makes for a more photojournalistic approach and I tend to prefer that. In addition, you really get to see their true personalities. I have to mention Jay, the proud papa. He is not a fan of getting his picture taken. Why is it that people who don't like getting their picture taken are the most photogenic people ever!? He actually did great- thanks for hanging in there Jay! Thanks so much Beth Ann for allowing me to capture your beautiful family! I hope you like these family photos!
